Lisa Tyson, Founder of Select Performance, LLC, is a professional Performance Coach and Human Resources Consultant. A business leader with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Lisa has performed a wide variety of HR leadership roles, specializing in Talent Management. Lisa has worked predominantly in the healthcare industry in pharmaceutical, device and diagnostics, in both public and private companies, ranging from start-ups to large global organizations.
Lisa provides tailored coaching services to executives and managers looking to maximize their performance through enhanced leadership and personal growth. Her clients currently include Regional Directors and Functional Leaders. Content of her coaching ranges from HR professionals to individuals who are transitioning to a new role or opportunity and are looking to optimize their contribution, as well as addressing challenges in the workplace. Lisa also serves as an HR Advisor partnering with businesses to consult on human capital management, organizational effectiveness, and talent management initiatives.
Prior to focusing on performance coaching and HR consulting, Lisa was Vice President at an international specialty pharmaceutical company where she led talent initiatives that concentrated on succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and talent acquisition. She has been the HR lead on divestitures and acquisitions, cultural change programs and established and managed a global HR organization. As an HR business partner, Lisa has worked closely with Commercial, Research & Development, Operations, and Corporate functions and an active member of several Executive Leadership teams.
In addition to coaching individuals, Lisa has managed coaching programs and has been a customer to coaching vendors in her HR capacity. This has provided her with a true appreciation for effective coaching models and practices. Her experience includes working at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Therakos, Johnson & Johnson, and Bausch & Lomb.
